Equip & All Member Meetings
Several times a month on Sundays, we gather for an educational lecture or discussion group on a topic related to our history, social justice, and advocacy.
Past topics have included the Black Panther Party, Intersectionality, Palestinian Liberation, and Protest Safety. Upcoming topics include ICE resistance, What's Going in the Congo, Resistance through Improv, etc.
See our calendar here.
Library & Book Clubs
We are in the process of creating a small library of books that center minority voices, stories, and issues faced. Anyone is welcome to borrow books from our library. A catalogue of the books we have can be found here.
Want to borrow a book but don't see it in our catalogue? Submit a library book request here to be voted on in our next All-Member Meeting. Want to buy us a book? Check out our book wishlist. Have a book you'd like to donate to our library or order for us? Please contact us.
Every once in awhile we do a book club where we read something together. Most recently we did a Trans Christian Book Club exclusively with transgender and gender-expansive community members where we are reading Transforming: The Bible and the Lives of Transgender Christians.
Chroma Archives
One of the biggest barriers to advocacy at Wheaton College is the erasure of minority voices and history. The Chroma Archives exist to highlight minority voices and document minority history at Wheaton College.
If you are a community member or Wheaton College alumni who would like to contribute art, writing, stories/knowledge, history, etc. please contact us. We would love to hear from you.
