Where the Money Goes
Community members can request reimbursement for groceries or medical bills, up to $50/month for each category.
After verifying receipts match the requested category, funds are dispersed.
As long as we have funds, we give them freely to those who self-attest need.
Library books can be requested to be bought with the collective funds, which must be approved with full consensus from the community at the soonest All-Member Meeting.
Any other financial expenditures may be requested, but must be approved with full consensus from the community at the soonest All-Member Meeting.
Financial Transparancy/Monthly Reports
We are strongly committed to financial transparency, thus we have committed the following practices:
We release monthly reports (see right) to the public detailing how much money we received as well as how much we spent in different categories (groceries, medical costs, books, etc.).
Any interested community member can reach out to us to set up a one-on-one appointment to look over our PayPal history and verify that the expenditures match our public reporting.
The PayPal that holds the collective fund has two-factor authentication split between two different Chroma cabinet members, preventing one from accessing funds without the other present.
